03 / TURBOX LEGAL

Terms of
service.

These terms govern your use of RomyEcho, the TurboX website, and related content and services (the “Services”) provided by TurboX LLC (“TurboX”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). Please read them carefully, especially the warranty disclaimers and limitations of liability.

Effective October 20, 2026 · Last updated October 20, 2026

01

Agreement and eligibility

By accepting these terms, or using the Services after being given notice that doing so constitutes acceptance, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Services. You must be at least 13 and meet any higher minimum age required where you live. If you have not reached the legal age to enter a contract, your parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these terms on your behalf.

02

Your account

Provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in credentials secure, and notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account. You must not impersonate others, share access to evade restrictions, or use another person’s account without permission.

03

Permitted use and ownership

We grant you a limited, personal, nonexclusive, nontransferable permission to use the Services for noncommercial learning while you comply with these terms. TurboX and its licensors retain their rights in the software, lessons, audio, designs, and branding. You must not resell or redistribute our content, bypass access controls, disrupt the Services, introduce malicious code, infringe others’ rights, or extract content through unauthorized automated access. Reverse engineering is prohibited except where applicable law expressly permits it despite this restriction. All use must comply with applicable laws, including export and sanctions rules.

04

Safe use comes first

Do not use RomyEcho when it distracts you from driving, cycling, operating machinery, or any activity requiring your full attention. Hands-free operation does not eliminate distraction. Never read, type, or operate on-screen controls while driving; stop in a safe, lawful location first. Follow traffic laws and use audio only when lawful and safe. You are responsible for assessing your surroundings and stopping a session whenever attention is needed. Descriptions of learning on the go are not a representation that use is safe in every situation.

05

Learning content and results

RomyEcho is an educational aid. Lessons, translations, pronunciations, and feedback may contain errors or omissions. We do not promise fluency, examination results, or a particular rate of progress. Independently verify information before relying on it in important situations. The Services are not a substitute for a qualified interpreter, professional advice, or emergency assistance.

06

Privacy and your submissions

Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information. You retain ownership of material you submit and grant us permission to use it as needed to operate the Services and respond to you. You must have the rights necessary to submit it. We may use voluntary product suggestions without compensation or attribution; this does not authorize uses of personal information inconsistent with our privacy policy.

07

Purchases and third-party services

If paid features or subscriptions are offered, the price, billing period, renewal conditions, and cancellation information shown at purchase apply. App Store purchases are also subject to Apple’s payment and refund rules. Manage any App Store subscription through your Apple account; deleting RomyEcho or your RomyEcho account does not itself cancel that subscription. Mandatory refund and consumer rights remain unaffected.

Sign-in providers, app stores, networks, and linked services operate under their own terms. We do not control their independent services. For an Apple-distributed app, Apple’s applicable standard end-user license agreement governs the app license unless a separate custom license is provided; these terms govern our related Services and do not override mandatory App Store rules.

08

Changes, suspension, and termination

We may update or discontinue features and may restrict or terminate access for material violations, security risks, legal requirements, or discontinuation of the Services. Where reasonably practicable and legally required, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve a violation. Urgent protective action may take effect immediately. Changes do not remove mandatory rights concerning services you have paid for.

You may stop using the Services at any time and delete your account through Me → Delete account. Data handling and deletion are described in our privacy policy. Provisions concerning ownership, accrued payment obligations, disclaimers, liability, indemnification, and disputes survive termination where applicable.

09

Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent the law permits, the Services are supplied “as is” and “as available,” without express, implied, or statutory warranties. TurboX disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, suitability for a particular purpose, title, and noninfringement to that extent. We do not warrant uninterrupted access, error-free operation, compatibility with every device, complete security, or preservation of every saved item. No informal advice or support communication creates a warranty. This section does not displace an express contractual commitment or a guarantee that the law does not allow us to disclaim.

10

Limitations of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TurboX, its affiliates, and their respective officers, employees, contractors, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or lost profits, revenue, business opportunities, goodwill, or data arising from the Services or these terms, even if advised that such losses were possible.

Our combined total liability for all claims arising from the Services or these terms will not exceed the greater of US $100 or the amount you paid for the Services in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. This is a single aggregate cap, not a separate cap for each claim. These limitations apply regardless of the legal theory, including contract, tort, negligence, or statutory liability, and even if a limited remedy fails its essential purpose, but only where lawful.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. This includes fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, and mandatory consumer remedies to the extent applicable law prohibits limiting them. Where a restriction is unlawful, it applies only to the extent permitted; your remaining statutory rights are preserved.

11

Responsibility for third-party claims

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify TurboX and its personnel against third-party claims, damages, and reasonable legal expenses caused by your unlawful use, material breach of these terms, or infringement of another person’s rights. This obligation does not cover losses caused by our own wrongful conduct. We will notify you of a claim and reasonably cooperate in its defense. No settlement may impose an admission or obligation on either party without that party’s written consent.

12

Washington State law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without applying its conflict-of-laws rules, except where mandatory law requires otherwise. Subject to any nonwaivable right to bring a claim elsewhere, disputes must be brought in a state or federal court of competent jurisdiction in Washington State, and you and TurboX consent to those courts’ jurisdiction. Consumers retain mandatory protections and court access available under the laws of their place of residence.

Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern. This request does not restrict your right to seek urgent relief, file a timely claim, or contact a regulator.

13

Updates to these terms

We may revise these terms and will update the date above. Material changes will be communicated through the Services or another reasonable channel before taking effect, with any notice or renewed agreement required by law. Revisions do not apply retroactively to an existing dispute. If you do not agree to a revision, stop using the affected Services; any mandatory cancellation or refund rights remain available.

14

General provisions and contact

These terms and any applicable purchase or license terms form our agreement concerning the Services. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only as necessary, and the remainder continues to apply. A failure to enforce a term is not a waiver. You may not transfer your contractual rights without our consent; we may transfer ours in a business reorganization or sale, subject to applicable law and without reducing your mandatory protections. Questions and legal notices may be sent to TurboX LLC at [email protected].
